“Marta”, by Dani Terzo, is the final single in a trilogy of songs named after women — and the second music video I had the chance to direct for this legend.
Shot during the first quarter of 2021, in that strange and chaotic period marked by COVID, when masks and social distancing were still mandatory on the Madrid Underground, we see Dani in a single-take sequence reflecting on his journey as a Metro busker, and expressing gratitude to those who’ve stopped to listen along the way.
Having people like Gustavo Vivas — who also produced the track — and the brilliant actress Voonniie as part of the shoot made the whole thing a proper gem.
I also took a series of photos from this same production, which were used to accompany the single and its cover artwork.
