Andreína — the bride — is more than an old friend from Maracay. She’s the person I first started filming weddings with. Over a decade later, it was my turn to tell the story of her own big day.
the groom is also a friend of mine, as are some of the guests — which made the experience not only personal, but also a creative challenge. I was in charge of the video alongside my sidekick Juanxo TV, and shared the responsibility of telling this story with Carlos Negrín — a renowned Venezuelan wedding photographer whom I deeply admire. Some of the final clips even came from the camera of Mariale Pérez, the bride’s best friend and a dear friend of mine as well.
The trailer itself is classic in form, told chronologically, yet carries a dynamic edge — weaving in different techniques to bring the story to a truly heartfelt place.
