Radiogamma live at Apolo — eight tracks, one legendary venue, and a full-blown session that deserved to be immortalised. I had the honour of directing the entire shoot.
Filmed at the iconic Apolo theatre in Barcelona, the session brought together the core trio — Anthony on vocals and guitar, Ricky on bass, and Sam on drums — along with a stellar lineup of guest musicians: chorus, keys, violin and cello.
The video featured in my portfolio is for “Goes Away”, the first of the eight tracks to be edited.
Each track was filmed with two setups. The first: a roaming Ronin 4D rig operated by the brilliant Valentin Flexo, with me guiding him via radio — “dolly in”, “go to drums”, “give me a wide”. The second: a full multicam rig, with seven operators and three static cams, capturing clean angles of every musician to blend seamlessly with the Ronin’s flow.
What came out is raw, precise, and full of power — just like Radiogamma live.
