“Mi Forma de Sufrir” is the new single by Ángela Huete — an extraordinary singer and guitarist from Spain. I feel genuinely honoured, not only to know her, but to have directed this video for such a sincere and moving song.
Ángela and I connected instantly on an artistic level. We spent hours side by side shaping the footage we’d captured in just one day of filming in Pepino — a small town near Toledo, with the kind of light and weather that allowed every idea to unfold.
Special thanks to “Chester” Aranguren — a longtime friend and a brilliant actor — who said yes without hesitation, and to Sofía Resino, who introduced us to Pepino and took on the role of our safe-risk driver while we shot on the move.
